Putting a face on the group of people actually doing this encourages participation from volunteers and trust from donors

Embed Twitter feed on main page, 1 or more most recent posts, and link to twitter
Describe alternatives you've considered
Instagram, but it's not a currently active platform for us. A section on the site for volunteer bios has also been suggested. This suggestion isn't instead of, but that will require extra effort to upkeep while leveraging Twitter is reusing existing content.
