Where can I find the statements to create the datamodel ?

Hey guys, I just tried to set-up an own local REMS instance as described here: https://github.com/CSCfi/rems/blob/master/docs/installing-upgrading.md
But I'm struggling with creating the needed table for the PostgreSQL DB.
You write "create the data model with e.g. migrate command" but I have nothing to migrate.
How can I set-up a new schema? Is there a script with some Create Table statements?

Hey, sorry for the confusing document.

The migrate command is definitely the one you should use to go from an empty database to a complete one. The creation statements are in there. There's an example further down in the upgrading part. I'll update the document when I get back to work next week.

I have now updated the documentation a little bit to include an explicit migrate command. Hope this clears it up.

Is it necessary to set a configuration ? Is there a default config available?

The exception doesn't seem to include anything that would point out to me what is wrong, but definitely you do need a config file. I can proof-read any config files that you may have created.

• There are a few example config files in the repo. Not that many attributes are required, but certainly DB connection details.

• Depending if you want to use an IdP already, you may be interested in e.g. Keycloak. For trying out with :fake authentication, I would just insert some users in to the database table (with :fake authentication, they will then show up in a "fake" login screen)
