Incorrect Favicon Path in Documentation

In the documentation for Site-wide settings, it states:

For example, if you want to use the favicon in static/favicon.ico, set favicon to /favicon.ico.

I noticed that the starter template uses the same path, but it doesn't work on my blog. I tried using favicon.ico instead of /favicon.ico, and it finally worked.

I'm not sure if this issue is due to a recent update or if it was my mistake. Additionally, I noticed that the template built successfully using /favicon.ico, but that was two months ago.

Could you please verify this and update the documentation if necessary? Thank you!
