Current OpenSearch domain is configured for mannual scale by modifying the instance type, number of instances, and storage options.
It would be highly beneficial to include built-in automatic scaling capabilities in Opensearch. Currently, while the service provides Auto-Tune for optimizing cluster resources and allows the configuration of auto-scaling policies via AWS Auto Scaling, native automatic scaling support would streamline operations in OpenSearch and Semantic search, and and improve user experience.
