Feedback: AppReady/update behavior unclear

We've hit a bunch of confusion around the AppReady call and were never quite clear if/when CapGo was blocking our app from hiding the splash screen. I think the default behavior should be something like "try to update the app for ~3 seconds and automatically hide the splash and start the current version if anything happens." This may be fixed in v7 and exposed in the configs?
