Feature Request: Custom Cursor Assets & Dynamic Cursor Editing #1463

Description

@nmknm

Currently, Cap replaces the OS cursor with default "High Quality" SVGs. I would like to request expanding this rendering capability of Studio Mode in two ways:

  1. Custom Cursor Files:
    Allow users to upload their own .svg, .ico, or image files (.png, .jpg, etc.) to use instead of the default cursor. This is essential for branding or accessibility (high contrast).

  2. Timeline Cursor Controls:
    Since Cap renders the cursor separately from the video feed (as metadata), please add options in the editor to modify the cursor for specific segments of the timeline:

    • Hide: Toggle visibility off, e.g., when the mouse accidentally obstructs text or UI elements.
    • Resize: Increase/decrease the scale to highlight clicks or focus areas.

Why this matters
Being able to swap the asset and tweak visibility/size in Studio Mode would significantly improve the editing workflow.
