[Feature Request] Smooth Transition between walking and running

What should be possible that currently is not

When walking and then sprinting, the speed increase is instant, but when starting to walk the walking takes some time to get up to speed making the standing to walking animation smooth.

It would be great, if you are walking and going over to sprint the speed increase is also gradual, instead of instant, making animations also feel smoother.
