Energy saving/power control FUBAR since 2-3 stables ago #1080
Description
Always using my mostly Infamous Atari VCS console as usual when opening bug issues for this project, last month or so (read: ~30 days ago) there was a stable upgrade released that crashed at 99%. Yet on the following reboot, everything seems to work just fine.
Except for the fact that the system would not stay halted when power off would be involved. In which, it would simply shutdown for a few seconds and immediately restart.
Of course the solution was/is to synchronize a power off and a cable pull out. Not so optimal and anything bug cool.
Some more(like 2-3) OS releases were installed and yet the problem remains.
Yesterday I have went forward with the sleep option and my system simply refuses to hibernate.
I have always been using the stable channel.
Before waiting too much and it gets lost, I had to open this issue.
