Developer Console 400 Errors

Both, Google-Fonts-Developer-API request and Google-Fonts style requests logging Errors to Developer Console. The whole issue is related to my ongoing problem to correctly handle fetch() call and catch errors. This is also causing testing issues (below). The proper fetch() handling ist my next TOOD point.
