Automating adding mermaid filter

hi @ChrisChinchilla
one question, I was rendering using your extension and I love it, however I noticed that some of the mermaid diagrams were not displayed correctly (I'm not sure what its vscode rendering but it actually supports mermaid), how should I do this ? using a filter will work ?

(...). -F mermaid-filter (...)

Also, how does it vscode manage to render the markdowns correctly ?, (this is a more meta question I know, but you probably are more familiar with this)

@pabloazurduy I've not really looked at Mermaid in the context of this extension, so will add it to the list to look into!

If you install the mermaid filter globally using npm:

npm i -g mermaid-filter

and change your PDF output string in vscode-pandoc to add the filter:

"pandoc.pdfOptString": "-F mermaid-filter"

The mermaid diagrams seem to render ok.
