Possibility to map files only

Hi guys, I know this seems kinda dead, but still very useful, so i was trying to map a key directly to a file but is seems it only knows how to map to directories...

"path": "/etc/serviceA/main.json",
}]

Right now the workaround i am thinking is to create another hierarchy in the KV

/config/serviceA/roleA/main.conf

Should it be too much trouble to add this? just wondering if the effort is not that much to try. I can always help.
