As you know very well, your inclusion of VD is one of the primary "selling" points of Apollo/Artemis. Compared to Sunshine, Apollo is so much easier and ready out of the box.
One additional change that would make it even better is to set VD as the default and only active method. What I mean is that, by default, most people probably only use the desktop app. VD should not only be enabled by default, but I think you should also add a system that automatically disables all physical monitors except the virtual one. That would remove one of the steps I always take when adding a new device, setting the VD as the primary display and disconnecting all other monitors.
Yes, I know you’ve added the option to force VD to the bottom right, but it's well known that active monitors consume performance unnecessarily, especially when someone is gaming from a tablet or similar device with only one monitor.
This way, if a user wants to activate their physical monitors for any reason, they can simply open the settings and re-enable them. But let’s be real, most people want something that works natively with their streaming client.
