GPU compute stressor?

We're developing workflow benchmarks leveraging stress-ng. We want to use a GPU stressor, but the GPUs we're (AMD MI250X, NVIDIA H200) don't support OpenGL.

Are you interested in additional GPU stress tests written in CUDA, HIP and/or a performance portable library?

Additional GPU stress tests are much appreciated! If they can use portable libraries that are generally available in major distros (such RHEL/Fedora, Debian/Ubuntu) then that makes it really easy for distros to also package stress-ng.

If it's OK, I'd appreciate it if the code is built using:

PEDANTIC=1 make

..and if possible can it be built using gcc and clang to ensure it's portable, e.g.:

make clean; PEDANTIC=1 CC=gcc make -j $(nproc)
make clean; PEDANTIC=1 CC=clang make -j $(proc)

If you require any help in the pre-build config checks for libs or headers then I'm already happy to help.
