I launched ComfyUI using the Element launcher. A complex reinstallation started.
After following the installation steps, the Comfy server started. I was able to load my workflow.
I expect everything to work.
The Checkpoint Loader could not find any of my checkpoints whatsoever. Nothing I could do could get it to respect the extra models config yaml file.
I tried updating the server to "Latest on GitHub". This completely broke the server, and it will no longer start.
It complains that Torch was compiled without CUDA support now.
I tried to downgrade back to the "Boot" snapshot. This downgrade fails.
Steps to Reproduce
the update and the snapshots downgrade are both completely failing to install Torch, try to utilize them on a system running Nvidia driver 576.88. I'm using a Geforce RTX 3090TI
Debug Logs
Unfortunately I cannot share the logs as they're full of paths and personally-identifiable information.
Other
The ComfyUI element installer is now completely unusable and I may have to switch to a standalone installation. So far I would not recommend ANYONE use the Element installer.
