vueNodes: hover does not work while the simplified (zoomed-out) mode is active #15316

Description

@christian-byrne

Summary

LiteGraph.vueNodesSuspended restores clicking while Vue nodes are unmounted below the LOD threshold, but not hover. processMouseMove still takes the Vue-nodes branch, so node_over never resolves and nothing highlights under the cursor at low zoom.

Detail

vueNodesSuspended has one read site (LGraphCanvas.ts:2779), which fans into a local suspended consulted at six branch guards inside the click path. The mouse-move path is not one of them: it still gates on vueNodesMode alone, so while suspended the canvas neither hovers a Vue node (there is none) nor falls back to litegraph hover.

User-visible effect: zoomed out, boxes give no hover feedback, so there is no affordance telling you a box is interactive before you click it. Clicking does work.

Caution for whoever fixes this

Do not simply add the suspension term to the mouse-move gate. That path reaches getWidgetOnPos (around LGraphCanvas.ts:3412), and re-enabling widget hit-testing at a zoom where a whole node is roughly 20px was the original defect behind the click-path work. Hover highlight and widget hit-testing need separating first.
