"cancel" button on "in queue" jobs don't work

Prerequisites

• I am running the latest version of ComfyUI
• I have searched existing issues to make sure this isn't a duplicate
• I have tested with all custom nodes disabled (see how)

What happened?

when i click "cancel" button on "in queue" jobs, nothing happened. while the job should be canceled.
//when i click "cancel job" in "more" menu on "in queue" jobs, the job canceled.

Steps to Reproduce

1. run more than 1 jobs;
2. view job history;
3. click "cancel" button on any "in queue" job.

The "cancel" button on "in queue" jobs doesn't work because it triggers an interrupt command, which only affects jobs that are currently running. For queued (pending) jobs, this has no effect, and the backend logs "Prompt ... is not currently running, skipping interrupt" as a result. In contrast, the "cancel job" option in the "more" menu correctly removes the job from the queue by calling the appropriate delete API, which is why it works as expected. This difference comes from how the frontend wires up these actions—recent UI changes have caused confusion and inconvenience for users, and maintainers are aware but haven't released a fix yet in 1.35.9. For now, use the "cancel job" option in the menu to remove queued jobs. Reference Code details
