Support for external camera (USB-C)

I was looking at the "CameraProvider.cs" code (for iOS) and see that it's not including searching for external camera types. Is this something that can easily be added? I'm writing an app that uses an externally connected webcam and (currently) I cannot use it with the CameraView.
