Staying Current with Tool Changes and Deprecations

Hi Composio team,

We're building an integration platform that relies on your tool catalog, and we've run into some challenges around keeping our local tool definitions current with your updates.

Currently, we're maintaining a local snapshot of your available tools/actions by copying the list from your website into our database. However, we've noticed that:

• Tools get deprecated over time (we saw this particularly with HubSpot integrations)
• New tools are added regularly
• Sometimes deprecated tools have identical names to current ones, with only the description indicating deprecation status

Our Questions:

1. Do you provide any API endpoints or webhook notifications for tool catalog changes?
2. Is there a programmatic way to get delta updates when tools are added, modified, or deprecated?
3. What's your recommended approach for integration partners to stay current with your tool catalog?
4. How frequently do you typically update/deprecate tools?

Any guidance on best practices for staying current with your platform would be greatly appreciated.

We are working on version of tools. Where you can use the version to lock-in or allow picking the latest tools. We will share more information and support in the SDKs soon. 🙌🏽
