FPS drops while walking (40k Tiles Unlocked)

Hello,

sadly my game started to lagg while walking within ~35k-~40k Tiles unlocked

When I stand still im fine with 70 FPS, maybe is there a way to load the tiles while walking differntly? Maybe if tiles would load while the new region loads there wouldn't be a lagg.

It's been almost a year since the last change here.
It sounds like your issue could be solved by #42, so if you know how to run a plugin from source you could use their version instead: https://github.com/elgbar/Tileman-Mode-Async

This issue was solved with changes delivered in the October 2025 update. Test cases runnijng 300k + tiles were still performant (150k player + 150k group tile imports).
