Data Quality - Clarification of specific Data Quality Obligations The ACCC has recently released findings and proposed actions following a stakeholder consultation process that focussed on data quality in CDR. To support these proposed actions, the ACCC alongside the Treasury, OAIC and DSB have formalised an updated guidance here on the CDR Support Portal. |

1867 | with the recent update of the Banking "Get Product Detail" API to Version 4, there is a discrepancy in the UI compared to the new features available. 5 new features were added as part of the update to version 4, however whenever they are added to our APIs, they are not rendered properly in the UI, see screenshot. The bullet points just show empty or display only the "More info" hyperlink. Could you please assist in making the update so that the UI reflects the new features appropriately? | Support for Version 4 of the Banking Product Detail API has been introduced to the Product Comparator Demo. - | Question on AI policy development | The Government’s 2023-24 Budget provided funding for Treasury to undertake detailed policy and design work on action and payment initiation over the next 2 years. The Government continues to prioritise action and payment initiation; it is a significant expansion and requires careful consideration. On 30 November 2022, the Government introduced the Treasury Laws Amendment (Consumer Data Right) Bill 2022 into the Parliament, which will set up the framework to enable action initiation. The specific timing of this work is dependent on the passage of the bill, which is subject to the parliamentary process. In addition, the subsequent extension of the CDR to bring in specific actions will involve long lead times. Treasury will continue consulting with industry as it develops the framework for action and payment initiation and will also consult on implementation timeframes. |
