2059 | CDR v5 rules Displaying authorisation amendments on dashboard 58. The Amending Rules require, from 1 July 2024, data holders to include details about amendments to authorisations on a consumer’s dashboard. This accords with the existing obligation in rule 1.14 for accredited persons to include details about amendments to consents on a consumer’s dashboard. [Schedule 1, items 22 and 23, paragraph 1.15(3)(h) and subrule 1.15(3A)] Based on where they placed this new rule (i.e. alongside rules in 1.15(3) that spelled out exactly what we need to provide within a sharing arrangement), they are probably thinking about having the amended history for each sharing arrangement stored within itself. Can i check if a DH does not have these amendment detail listed under "history" within a sharing arrangement, but instead, when we receive an amendment to an active sharing arrangement, we revoke the current sharing arrangement and create a new one. This way it still captures the state prior to "amendment" and the state after. Is that sufficient to fulfil the rule? |
Thank you for your enquiry and apologies for our delay in responding. Rule 1.15(3) sets out the information that must be displayed on a consumer dashboard for each authorisation. From 1 July 2024, this information includes the details of each amendment that has been made to the authorisation (see rules 1.15(3)(h) and 1.15(3A)). The DSB is currently consulting on new standards to give effect to rule 1.15(3)(h) – see Decision Proposal 276 on page 6. Feedback can be provided in response to that Decision Proposal by 20 October 2023. We encourage you to keep an eye out on the GitHub page for Decision Proposal 276 for updates. For more information about Decision Proposals more generally, see here. |
2068 | The recent Rules amendments added item (h) details of each amendment (if any) that has been made to the authorisation, impacting the requirements for consumer dashboard to Sub Rule 1.15(3). Can you please advise what "details" are required, including if from ADR or made via Consumer Dashboard at Data Holder and when I can find further details on this item. |
