Android without Google Play

The Android App need the Google Play Services to work. I think that this kind of security app should work directly with Bare Android system. I really appreciate the effort put into the privacy aspect of the app, but to use the app, I need a service that actually track and spy the phone. You could create another version of the app, that does not need the Google Play Services and put in on FDroid.

microG project provides an open-source / free software replacement for the Play Services client library that can be used to create GAEN compatible apps that don't require Google Play Services and can be put in F-Droid with very little effort to developers (drop-in replacement).
