Tracking old browser version usage

Just wrote a function that retrieves information on browsers and hosts where the activity occurred in the last n days and, at the time of the activity, the browser version was more than 30 days old. Using Get-FalconAsset with the -Application switch really simplified the data collection and allowed me to focus on the logic of what I wanted to measure.
I had to write a couple of utility functions to regularly poll the chrome and edge versions/release dates and save them to disk to calculate the age of the browser at the time of use. Maybe Spotlight has that information, but that's a project for another day.

I've noticed that foreach{} is much faster than ForEach-Object with larger datasets. Try changing this line from:

 $BrowserUsage | ForEach-Object {
        if ($_.last_used_timestamp -gt $deduped[$_.host.hostname].last_used_timestamp ) {
            $deduped[$_.host.hostname] = $_
        }
    }

to:

 @($BrowserUsage).foreach{
        if ($_.last_used_timestamp -gt $deduped[$_.host.hostname].last_used_timestamp ) {
            $deduped[$_.host.hostname] = $_
        }
    }

And see if it gives you better performance.

Thanks for the tip. I'd seen it in your code but never really investigated, thinking it was a static method of the array class. Unable to find the method signature though, I just parked it. I didn't realize until you pointed it out that it was a PowerShell feature.
I notice there is also a where method according to the doco so we could probably expect better performance with that as well.
