Short description:

Some recipes from JEI still does not work even with latest version and with default config.

This is really nasty issue, because the failure of autocrafting on start of game gives first impression for user.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. I used clean installation (no resource packs, no configs) of Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.226

2. I put this list of mods to mods folder:
   cyclopscore-1.21.1-neoforge-1.29.1.jar
   commoncapabilities-1.21.1-neoforge-2.11.4.jar
   integratedcrafting-1.21.1-neoforge-1.4.6.jar
   integrateddynamics-1.21.1-neoforge-1.33.2.jar

Additional external mods:

What is the error that shows when you hover over the red X? The tooltip that you're showing in both screenshots is not the error, but just a regular tooltip for the item as presented in creative mode. The bold print warning is just warning you not to duplicate the card's ID, as those are supposed to remain unique, which has nothing to do with the error you're experiencing/describing.

"Target" is a Crafting Table and recipe IS acceptable for it.

"Disable Craft Check" for Crafting Interface forces craft, but player must know about this option and find it, that's not user-friendly.

@uhloin I had a look at this, but I'm unable to reproduce the problem with the battery using the versions you mentioned.
Did you have any other mods installed? If so, could you retry without them?

Also, could you enable logRecipeValidationFailures in your Integrated Crafting config, and share with me the log debug output that is printed right after the red cross is shown after inserting the battery recipe?
