Cost of running Chainlink VRF

Hi all!

Just deployed raffle contract on Sepolia, Chainlink Automation went successful but Chainlink VRF subscription has not enough LINK. The estimated cost is about 86 LINK and here is my question whether it is so expensive to run Chainlink VRF on mainnet as well or is it just the sepolia?
If I want to run in on mainnet with the current LINK price it would cost me around $1100 🐳

It is not that expensive to run Chainlink VRF, I think that is just specific to Sepolia, maybe due to the high requests that are constantly sent by students who use the Sepolia chain for testing. You won't actually use all the 86 Link to run a process, I believe it is just some required balance.

upkeepneeded is saying false by the way. Later realised I should have just figured out how to run it on Anvil first (don't fully know how to do this yet).

You can practice more on the anvil chain, and when you are ready to do it on the Sepolia chain, I can send you 0.5 sepolia ether if you don't have it by then.
