It's a clean forum within a fresh installation of DNN 9.13.9 on Windows Server 2019.
Everything works well without deleting, pinning, locking, moving, loading post.

Firefox shows me:

Status 404
Version HTTP/2
Referrer Policy strict-origin-when-cross-origin

Steps to reproduce (if needed)

Other comments or remarks

I have read a lot about this problem in related topics here in this forum. So I removed WebDAV and WebDAV module from IIS/Website, but still the same frustrating result as described above. Nothing helped.
I'm sure, I made a stupid mistake, but please tell me which one and where. I'm to old and to tired to search another day and another night.
It's my first post here in this community and English is not my native language, so please be patient.

@wth-maris I'm sorry about the frustration. I will try to research this further. I thought I had duplicated it, but not same issue.
Can you:

1. post a screenshot of the topic you're working on? Please include the browser address bar so I can see the url.
2. Post screenshot from where you see the Firefox 404 error?

Also, is this running in a production environment or local test?

It seems I solved it!
About the clean forum on a fresh DNN installation I don't know, I removed this testing site.
Could restore it to find out, if it's necessary.
But most import thing is, CommunityForum works now on my main domain, a very, very old one for many German football fans (Bundesliga).
It seems, everything works now very well there. You made a great work with that forum module. Thanks a lot, I'm happy now!

But please don't ask me for the exact solution.
I removed "X-XSS-Protection" from HTTP Response Header in IIS among other things.
And configured redirecting from HTTP to HTTPS in HSTS.
Also I configured redirecting requests to the primary domain in DNN website settings and other things regardin URL in SEO and SSL security. The website has 3 aliases.
All this took me hours and hours but what exactly was the key point... don't ask me, Suddenly it worked.

@wth-maris I so glad you've solved it and everything is working now!! Thanks for updating the issue. My guess would be it had something to do with the portal/site alias records. Do you know which forums version you were on prior to this one?

What do you mean with prior forums version? Version of CommunityForums module?
It's the first time I installed this module. Never had a forum before on my website.
Years ago I've installed YAF forum for a short time. It worked quite good too, but I stopped it after a time cause I was fed up with German/European laws DSGVO (GDPR).
Will start again with this forum now and see how users are interested in.
On my private website users can bet of the results of 1. and 2. Fussball-Bundesliga matches, not for money but for points and honor.
As I said before, it's a very old website - 15 years old. I started to program it by myself with Dotnetnuke and VB.NET.
Many users are still active from the beginning on. I'm old school as most of my users too, we hate to much commerce, espacially at professional football, nevertheless I like (and need) money. ;-)

Oh ok. I thought you were upgrading from an older version of community forums or perhaps active forums. I too used to write VB.net, VB 3/4/5/6 before that, and COBOL before that--so you know I'm old and tired too!

Puuuuhh... that's remarkabel. You must have started in the late fifties / early sixties, when I've met Elvis while he was stationend in Germany near by my hometown. ;-)
