Cloudformation Registry setup with boto3 fails

I am not longer able to set up a CF registry resource with SDK but I'm still able to do it with cli. I get this error with SDK:
An error occurred (CFNRegistryException) when calling the RegisterType operation: Error validating schemaHandlerPackage. Check the permissions on the bucket and object in your account and try again.

I use this for all accounts I create as a base setup with infrastructure as code with the help of CF custom resources. Would like to get this fixed.

Hi @nmuesch @bkabrda I am having the same issue, I was trying to register a new version and also in a different account but it error in the same way. The command here with.
aws cloudformation register-type --region "eu-west-1" --type RESOURCE --type-name "Datadog::Integrations::AWS" --schema-handler-package "s3://datadog-cloudformation-resources/datadog-integrations-aws/datadog-integrations-aws-1.0.1.zip"

I can share the command output with debug enabled if you would require

@nmuesch @bkabrda Hi I manage to get it up but i have stop using it. It is not mature enough. But the issue was that I had to give the lambda rights to read tags or something it was weird and not documented.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Can you try to use the latest beta build we just released for each resource? This bumps the underlying SDK we use to build which has fixed some issues, as well as switched the underlying runtime to use the python SDK.
Note: The beta builds aren't in s3 but are in the github releases, such as - https://github.com/DataDog/datadog-cloudformation-resources/releases/tag/datadog-integrations-aws-1.2.0b1

If you still are experiencing issues, can you share the debug output (without any potentially sensitive data) of the command and the version of the CLI you're using?
