Describe the bug
In version 1.10.2, when you click next (or use the next hotkey via MPRIS) while playback is stopped, the application instead plays the first track in the playlist instead of whatever the next track would have been. Works normally while playing or paused. As far as I can tell, this is a regression of the previously closed issue #478.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Stop playback with the stop button or a stop hotkey.
- Click the next button or use a next hotkey.
Expected behavior
When pressing next while playback is stopped, the application should play the next track in the playlist after the most recently played track. Alternatively, it could play the next track after the one that is selected in the UI if that would be easier to keep track of.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Manjaro 26.0.4 (KDE Plasma 6.5.6, Wayland)
- Deadbeef Version 1.10.2
