Summary

Total Files Removed: 24 bloat files Estimated Space Saved: ~2-5 MB Impact: Cleaner codebase, faster deployments

Deployment Optimizations

Combined with .dockerignore updates:

  • Excluded from deployment:
    • infrastructure/ (320KB)
    • agents/ (88KB)
    • attached_assets/ (416KB)
    • All backup files (removed)
    • All test files (removed)
    • Cache directories

Result: Significantly reduced deployment image size

Next Steps

To further reduce deployment size:

  1. Manual .replit cleanup (CRITICAL):

    • Remove 15 extra port configurations
    • Keep only port 5000 → 80

  2. Optional package cleanup:

    npm prune
npm dedupe

  3. Deploy:

    • With cleanups + .dockerignore, should be under 8 GiB
    • Or switch to Reserved VM if needed
