How to Fix the Flashing Screen

THE PROBLEM

The flashing happens on the development URL (.repl.co) because of Vite's hot-reload system disconnecting every 500ms.

THE SOLUTION

Use the published version - it has ZERO flashing because it doesn't use Vite HMR.

YOUR URLS

Development URL (HAS FLASHING)

• https://hyperdag.dealappseo.repl.co
• This is for coding/testing only
• Vite HMR causes flashing - this is normal and cannot be eliminated while developing

Published URL (NO FLASHING)

• https://hyperdag.dealappseo.replit.app
• This is your production URL for real users
• Uses optimized production build
• No Vite, no flashing, no issues

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

1. Share the .replit.app URL with anyone who will use your app
2. Use the .repl.co URL only when you're actively coding
3. The flashing on .repl.co is expected and normal during development

WHY THIS HAPPENS

Vite's development server (used on .repl.co):

• Provides hot module replacement (HMR) for instant updates while coding
• Creates a WebSocket connection that reconnects constantly
• This reconnection causes the white flash every 500ms
• This is Vite's design - all Vite dev servers behave this way

Production build (used on .replit.app):

• Pre-compiled, optimized code
• No WebSocket, no HMR
• No flashing whatsoever

BOTTOM LINE

The flashing is ONLY on the development preview. Your published app at .replit.app works perfectly without any flashing.
