try_tick to advance futures created by ctx.spawn

I'm embedding rquickjs into winit. Is it possible to try_tick (like in async-executor) the rquickjs schedular so that it runs statefully inside a non-async event loop?

After reviewing Scheduler::poll in rquickjs, it looks like it drains the queue, so a single poll of AsyncRuntime::idle ought to be enough?

The edge case remains when the internal async lock is pending, which I agree should trigger an immediate notify (like in your MR).

That said, I have a concern about thread safety. It appears the new MR might prevent waking up from a different thread when the parallel feature is off, whereas the existing mpsc queue handles this. Is this a necessary trade-off or by design?

Thats why its a draft for now. This should be a non-breaking change. This was probably overlooked and should be updated

Thanks for your kind response. Currently, manually polling AsyncRuntime::idle seems sufficient for my needs. Looking forward to the async refactor to see if it improves ease of use, convenience, or performance.
