Achievements in Unravel Two don't unlock

Describe the bug
I enabled the overlay. Achievements show in the overlay. But achievements do not unlock - they are not written to achievements.json on GSE Saves folder.

Hey, thanks for the new files. How did you generate them? I use achievement watcher but it seems outdated.
It still didn't work though, I deleted my save and tried again - achievements don't popup neither are saved to a .json. Playtime works. Did you manage to make it work on your end? Thanks!

The issue you mentioned is outside the capabilities of GSE because the game in question, like other EA titles, does not use the Steam API to unlock achievements. In this case, it uses the Origin API to unlock them.

Therefore, you need to look for an Origin emulator that supports achievements.

Why does this happen?
It’s because EA games only use the Steam API file as a data transfer hook.

How does it work?
The game first unlocks achievements in Origin or EA Desktop, and then uses the steam_api.dll file as a hook to communicate to (Steam) which achievement was unlocked. This is how you end up getting achievements on Steam. (This method is also used by Ubisoft, which uses the steam_api64.dll file as a hook to unlock achievements.)

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get further help from this response, as this request is outside the scope of what the emulator itself does.
