Update: since version 0.4, you can add/vendor local SVG files/folder as Icon. Feedback and bug reports are welcome. |

Hey Dioxus community! 👋
I'm excited to share dioxus-iconify - a CLI tool that brings 275,000+ icons from Iconify to your Dioxus projects with zero runtime dependencies.
Why dioxus-iconify?
Inspired by shadcn-ui's philosophy and Dioxus components, this tool generates icon code directly in your project instead of bundling entire icon libraries as dependencies. Just pick the icon names you need from Iconify - home of open source icons, and they're vendored & compiled into your app as type-safe Rust constants.
Quick Start:
Usage in your components:
The generated Icon component integrates seamlessly with Dioxus 0.7 and supports all SVG attributes.
Repository: https://github.com/davidB/dioxus-iconify
Quickly created with the help of Claude, but reviewed and tested in my handcrafted WIP Dioxus project. Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions!
