I like this indicator! Thank you for your work on it!

I took the liberty to update this indicator, create a deb package, fix the gettext structure, add a FR and DE translation, and also a dconf-key to control visibility at the ellie-commons repo

The last update being 4 years ago i assumed this was unmaintained. But let me know if you want a PR done

I'm slowly getting back to it now.
Regarding your initiative, I wouldn't say I've completely abandoned the package, but at the same time, I don't have any particular ideas for what else could be added. So, if you bring some fresh ideas to it, I'm all for it. I'll archive my package then.
Remove the donation link; it's currently not actual.
I created some packages at the request of other users or based on immediate needs. I can't develop them further due to a lack of demand (from me or the community) or ideas. Therefore, I would be delighted if my package were given a new lease of life.

ellie-commons is to maintain older apps and pieces of software, and give a bit of fresh. Theres a couple apps we revived as such. The point is mostly to not let good stuff die.

The indicator will not change much - ive done a couple aesthetic changes, and plan to submit to pantheon-tweaks a panel to enable/disable indicators. It will have the dconf key for that

Theres also a PR open against wingpanel to set indicators on left, right, or center. If merged, will add to its settings a flag so people can set it wherever
