There are times when you want a user to just click a button to indicate they have completed an action (i.e. the Quick Actions like contact attempted, meeting scheduled, etc.). They don't need to fill out any form fields at all - in fact, needed to fill form fields is a hindrance to them submitting updates.
Idea:
In some way, add Quick Action buttons to the list of available fields. You should be able to add each quick action separately to be able to show just the action that is relevant to a given link context. These should show in the ML UI as a simple button that needs to be clicked. Since they are all forms, maybe that button is actually a checkbox behind the scenes that makes the button highlighted once clicked. This would also be like a toggle, but that doesn't give the kind of prominence or singular action that a button does.
