Info on unit control

Hi Thanks a lot for info on this terratec and internal fix, quite appreciated. While i do have one of the original.. do you have some trick to get it work for a win10 machine ?
And, is there a way to have external wire to made the 'input switch' possible ? Like switch to toslink, or mic.. As with remote it's possible, but quite deffective too.

@docop thanks for your interest for my work. Unfortunately, I haven't tried to make this audio card work on Windows because I've switched to Mac over a 13 years ago and never looked back since.

I haven't analysed the possibilities to switch sources the other way, then using a remote control or internal app yet. But I believe it is possible by either terminal command or some kind of hardware signal.

I have some far future plans to convert the sound card from firewire to XMOS USB/AVB platform and during this trip I will be able to say what capabilities do existing hardware have. But I cannot commit to any timeframe for that task because there's no use for sound card at the moment
