Pressure sensitivity

Was thrilled to see drawpen nicely tracks my stylus drawing on a Cintiq, giving a really sleek full-screen drawing canvas. This feels like the perfect interface for drawpen.

Except, no pressure sensitivity that I can tell. It fakes pressure based on drawing speed, which feels weird and broken when using a physical stylus: the stroke is changing width beneath the pen but is obviously disconnected from pressure, giving a very disjointed drawing experience.

Is this on the roadmap already? If not, any pointers on where I might look if I wanted to add it?

Hi,

Yes — currently, DrawPen does not support pressure.

I will consider how to add it to the application without breaking anything.

It’s a bit challenging, as pens and styluses have their own events and tracking systems.
