Here are the details of my environment:

OS: Windows 11
Browser: Google Chrome (Version 142.0.7444.60)
Steps to reproduce:

Open any webpage with a video (e.g., YouTube).
Start playing the video.
Launch DrawPen while the video is playing.
Issue: The video playback area becomes blank or fails to render properly—only audio continues.

I did some research and found that this might be related to Chrome’s GPU-accelerated compositing layers, but I’m not entirely sure.

Yeah, I found the same information.
I’ll check what options we have, but I’m not sure there’s much I can do.

Chrome disables video playback when a transparent Electron window appears on top of it because Windows treats such a window as “unsafe” for video output.
This isn’t a bug — it’s a strict rule of Windows + Chromium that cannot be changed with flags or code.

I’ve added the opacity trick, but it seems to have resolved the issue only partially.

It worked on one of my two Windows PCs.

Please try 0.31 version and I hope that I will help
