Feature Request: Integrated Screen Capture / Recorder

Summary
Add the ability to save the board for future reference or presentation purposes directly within DrawPen.

Background
Currently, I rely on Linux screenshots to capture my presentations. While this works, it feels limited and lacks flexibility.

Proposal

• Provide an integrated screen capture option.
• Optionally, extend this to a screen recorder for presentations.

Benefits

• Easier creation of slides and documentation.
• More seamless workflow without relying on external tools.
• Makes DrawPen significantly more useful for teaching, presenting, and collaboration.

Hi! Could you clarify what kind of flexibility you’re looking for?

Previously, I responded with:

Regarding screenshots — I don’t think this feature will be implemented soon, 
since DrawPen is primarily an annotation tool, not a screenshot utility 
(a slightly different approach from my perspective). That said, I’ve already 
heard similar suggestions a few times, so I might explore some lightweight integration ideas in the future.

I could add a very basic “take a screenshot of the current screen” option, but it would be quite limited (so I do not think that it will be useful). Would that still work for your use case?

I understand your point about the differences between a screenshot and a whiteboard. However, a modern whiteboard can be defined as one that integrates tools such as screenshots or recordings, because in the future these notes can help audiences revisit the original position and situation. Even today, many physical whiteboards include features that capture notes and send them directly to laptops or other devices. Without exaggerating the matter, I believe user requests can serve as a reasonable reference to determine whether such a feature is truly useful.
