This looks like something that would be a great add to react-native core. Would you be willing to submit a PR?

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but it probably wouldn't happen with this lib as is.

We could use this issue to track blockers though. Fixing them would improve this
library regardless of it being merged into core.

Blockers:

• Needs to display local images without falling back to Image (you can't replace Image if you're using Image, or can you?).
• Add support for children. #15 Children support.
• Cannot set per request headers. Headers are global. #14 Per request headers.
• Needs a way to specify caching policy. Immutable urls are technically the best way to handle caching, but they don't suit everyones needs, and without other caching policies this module will not have feature parity with React Native core.
