@chengzhuzhang I noticed the ceres_ebaf_toa_v4.1-ALBEDO-JJA plots in zonal_mean_xy for "expected" (v2.12.1) look odd compared the the "actual" (v3.0.0rc2). Is the "expected" correct?

Nice catch! I think this has been seen before and is more or less expected. During the boreal summer, the high-latitude Southern Hemisphere receives very little incoming radiation. Albedo is defined as the ratio of reflected radiation to incoming radiation, which resulted in an extremely high albedo value. To address this, we had to exclude the high-latitude band from the lat-lon map, but this adjustment was not applied in the zonal mean line plot.
