Debugging CMOR issues can be painful because the console outputs are logged into separate log files specific to cmor.
Describe the solution you'd like
Include CMOR console outputs in the e3sm_to_cmip log.
Do we still want to create a log for each individual CMOR variable? It might be redundant.
