Find a way to get ED server status

PR #11 removed the codebase that pings and endpoint of the ED server to check if its up or not. This is done to make sure that the detector doesn't fail when ED servers are having downtime.

But the URL that was used is currently broken and hence no longer works. We should try and look for a new way to get server status.
