Move basic tutorial episodes from Carpentry to rst format

We are moving all our tutorial episodes from carpentry to rst format. With this move the episodes will then also be hosted in the ESMValTool repo therefore I open the issue here (in addition to the issues opened in the tutorial repo).

This is the issue where we discuss this transition for all basic tutorial episodes, including:

• Introduction
• Quickstart guide
• Installation
• Configuration
• Running your first recipe
• Conclusion of the basic tutorial

Dear @ESMValGroup/userengagementteam,

Birgit and I have started migrating the tutorial and converting it to rst format. The first episode is ready, and we would like to gather some initial feedback. See the draft PR #4592.

You can find the link to this first episode on the first tutorial page in the new generated documentation, located just under the video.

Our idea is to keep at the end referring to the tutorial above the video on the first page, and to create a new landing page (similar to the current Tutorial Home page) where all individual episodes will be listed.

We plan to collect all basic episodes in this single Pull Request and merge them together. I know it is a somewhat long PR, but doing it individually wouldn't make much sense for the start, right?

I do have one specific question to you. First of all, thanks for your rst template, it is really helpful! There is one issue I can't figure out.

You suggested different ways how to refer to the ESMValTool documentation (with :ref: and :doc:). Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to refer to parts of the ESMValCore documentation. For now, I'm pointing to the URL, but maybe there is also a more sophisticated solution... Could you help me with that?
