Presence nodes updated, no longer working in companion

2 out of the 3 nodes ive been playing with in the companion are not working, after updating.

The companion isnt publishing information about the devices seen by these unknown nodes, only the master one.

I can see the tiles location being reported to mqtt by both "lounge" and "study", but are both reported as not home by the companion.

Enabling the telemtry topic made the nodes appear in the UI, but it hasnt changed the device tracking behaviour

I actually think this is because my nodes are too far apart and at certain times the tiles are only being detected by a single presense node.

Would that explain this behaviour ? I would have thought it would at least report the node its being detected by,

Yes, fixes 1 would mean that only one node is seeing it. The issue is most likely max distance is throwing away the measurement. Hit the calibrate button on the device to see if the distances are being estimated correctly

Thanks for the report! This is likely due to the default absorption change in recent firmware which makes the max distance filter more effective.

Try setting absorption to 3.5 (old default) to restore previous distances, or recalibrate your nodes.
