Whether my results need to be aligned with groud truth and how to align？

I have computed some point clouds with COLMAP and wanted to evaluate my results. But the evaluation result I got was poor：

Is it because I did not align my results with groud truth ? In MESHLAB, the distribution of two point clouds at the same point is different：
