Releases: EVA-3D/eva-main
EVA 2.1.1
Small release to add more bed probes and fix some wording in the documentation.
EVA 2.1.0
This release is a close followup after 2.0.0 so make sure to read 2.0.0 release notes as well
There are 3 major features in this release
-
Quick Swap hotends - the
frontpart is not shared between the 3 hotends (V6, Mosquito, Dragon) - no more fiddling with the belts to swap a hotend!

-
3-point hotend support - the face parts are now supported with a part that reduces the wobble on the nozzle tip. It also directs the air from the hotend fan away from the bed.

Other
- Mosquito gets a 40mm fan mount
And a bugfix
- The bowden variant of mosquito was unusable due to the lack of a place to put a PTFE (pneumatic fitting)
Notes
No changes were introduced to Aero or Hemera.
To update from EVA 2.0.0 you'll need to reprint the bottom and front/face parts.
EVA 2.0.0
EVA 2.0.0
The EVA community (which I think there is one at this point!) proudly presents EVA 2!
EVA 2.0.0 introduces the following changes:
Different belt path and front belt clamping mechanism (no more zip ties)
Improved contribution system
Every EVA was split into different repositories under the EVA-3D organization. Contributors can receive write access to the projects they want to contribute to. A contribution guide is still to come (sorry)
Shrouds
Those are here just for the looks but do make the whole build more refined
X endstop
Modular and adjustable endstop system was introduced for a stronger endstop mount, easy to remix single part to allow different endstops
Cable paths
The face and bottom parts now feature zip tie mounts allowing to safely guide the wires around the whole assembly
Horns Duct 2.1
New version of the horns duct with more clearance from the build surface
New probe mounts
Stronger 8mm inductive probe mount and a adjustable BL-Touch probe mount
Dropped support for other than the 90deg back
The real performance of the 60deg and 90deg backs were the same, so the space saving 90deg is now the only one available. It's also healthier for the fan bearings.
New and (I hope) Improved documentation
