Running Citrineos according to it's documentation

CitrineOS provides a instructions and a Dockerfile to test everest. https://citrineos.github.io/latest/getting-started/testing-with-everest/

I will be testing with this to investigate issues we are having with CitrineOS in the demo

The current issue I'm having is trying to set the address for the CSMS in everest

I have gotten everest to successfully connect to CitrineOS 1.8.0

steps taken

1. Run CitrineOS from it's github repo using docker compose, docker compose --file Server/docker-compose.yml up -d
2. Edit Server/everest/Dockerfile, change the first line

ARG EVEREST_IMAGE_TAG=2025.6.2-dt-esdp

3. Edit Server/everest/docker-compose.yml, comment out the platform settings, and add an entrypoint to the manager

  manager:
    ...
    entrypoint: "tail -f /dev/null"

4. start the everest containers, EVEREST_IMAGE_TAG=2025.6.2-dt-esdp docker compose --file Server/everest/docker-compose.yml up -d
5. enter the manager, docker exec -it everest-manager-1 bash
6. edit /ext/dist/share/everest/modules/OCPP201/component_config/standardized/InternalCtrlr.json, change the value of 'ocppCsmsUrl` to 'ws://host.docker.internal:8081/cp001'
7. start everest bash /ext/build/run-scripts/run-sil-ocpp201-pnc.sh

I was able to replicate these steps, I will see if I can build on them to get a working version back for the 1-line demo!

Citrine OS team is working on using Operator UI (found here https://github.com/citrineos/citrineos-operator-ui).

Could you please share the steps to connect EVerest with Operator UI

Hi @surajkamtamSE, neither @catarial nor I have used Operator UI before, so we're not sure what the steps would be. To check with the broader EVerest community to see if anyone else has used Operator UI with EVerest or knows how the best place to ask would be Zulip.
