3DS - Exiting the Player through the HOME or Power button crashes the console

Whenever playing the 3DS version, no game needed.

Player platform:

New Nintendo 2DS XL, latest continuous build of the Player.

Dump 2 corresponds to when I quit the game through the HOME menu, and Dump 3 corresponds to when I quit the game with the power button.

Describe the issue in detail and how to reproduce it:

When the game is exit without exiting manually from the Player (by pressing B in the Games menu or by having a red screen crash), the console will crash instead of correctly exiting the game.
