Program crashes while downloading history #151
Description
I am using fedora 38 and the latest version of the plugin purple-mattermost.
Pidgin with the purple-mattermost plugin hangs when I log in to the server with a user account that already has a large history of responses from various people and channels.
I noticed that the plugin tries to download all the stories at once, which in this case causes a huge increase in RAM usage, and then after a few seconds the entire program crashes.
I suspect that the solution to this situation would be sequential or partial downloading. Maybe as an additional setting in the plugin, such as "download only messages from the last X days"??
